The days of having commonplace, ordinary, mundane faith are over. We are getting ready to enter a season where, in order to operate in God at a level of peace and security, you must possess Radical Faith.
There are a lot of believers who have just enough faith to believe that Jesus died for their sins, rose from the dead the third day, and is seated at the Right Hand of The Father. This is the faith required for salvation, and for this we give God all of the praise. However, in the days for which we are about to experience, this type of salvific faith alone, will not be sufficient. Your lukewarm brand of Christianity will fail you in the days ahead.
For awhile now, God has been warning the church to, if I can say it like this, "get right with God". Quit playing around. Make the crooked places straight and the rough places plain (Luke 3). He's been calling us to surrender to His circumcision of the heart and crucifixion of the flesh.
Unfortunately, there have been more than a few believers who have spurned the Call of the Lord to draw nearer and submit to Him in righteousness and holiness. Now the time for why God has been calling us to this place in Him is about to manifest. And in order to survive in the days to come, you must adhere to and embrace Radical Faith.
What is Radical Faith? Radical Faith is the type of faith that believes in God for the Supernatural as the norm. Let me say again, Radical Faith believes in God for the Supernatural as the normative way to relate to God and the normal way that God chooses to relate to His people. There are too many people in the church that only expect to witness the Supernatural and the Miraculous when they've exhausted all human effort and remedies and resources in the Natural. This is incorrect.
The God we serve is a Supernatural God. He is a Miracle-Working God. So if God is this type of God, and no believer would argue that He is, then why don't we witness God working supernaturally in our lives on a more regular basis? It's not because God has changed (Malachi 3), but because of the deficiency of our faith.
If you're not operating in supernatural faith, then you can't expect to witness a Supernatural God. If you don't have miracle working faith, then you can't expect to experience a Miracle Working God. It doesn't mean that God "won't" do it, but remember, God acts and moves on our behalf according to our faith (Matthew 8).
This is why we need to allow the Holy Spirit to cultivate within us Radical Faith. Why? Because saints in the days ahead I can assure you, you're going to need the Supernatural just to survive. You're going to need miracles more than you've ever needed them before.
You may not see it now, but I'm trying to tell you, the times are about to change, regardless of what it looks like right now. And when they do, you don't want to be trying to "gird up your faith" then; you want to already know how to operate in Radical Faith.
