Positioned and Prepared

Saints, we are there. The Time has come. God is ready to Move in a Supernatural Way and it is nearer than we can imagine. I received a prophetic declaration at the beginning of September; and according to the word of the prophet, God is going to Move by the end of October. How He's going to Move? I don't exactly know. When precisely He's going to Move? I can't answer that either. But according to the prophetic word that was declared, it's going to be by the end of this month, October 2015. Why is this significant? Because saints, it gives us a legitimate timeline in which to be prepared for God to Move Supernaturally and Miraculously in our lives. God is Good like that. He'll give us the heads up because He doesn't want any of us to miss it. But in order to receive what God has supernaturally prepared for you during this Season, the prerequisite is that you be Positioned and Prepared.

The misconception in the mainstream church is that in order to receive from God, all you have to do is be available. This is incorrect. Just going to church is not enough. Just working in ministry is not enough. Just reading your Bible is not enough. The reason I can't say that definitively is because I was doing all of those things, and The Lord gave me a word that if I didn't make some adjustments, I was going to miss His Divine Plan for my life during this Season. So what was the problem? I wasn't properly positioned.

Another misconception of a lot of believers is that in order to receive from God, all you have to is be faithful. Yes, God does reward faithfulness, but in order to receive from God at the Level for which He has prescribed during this Season, believe it or not faithfulness is not enough. Hopefully you will have ears to hear this, but you can be faithful without being obedient. There are plenty of pastors who are faithful to the pastoral assignment that God has called them to ministerially. But there are other areas as it relates to their personal relationship with God, not their ministry, for which they are disobedient. The call saints right now is righteousness and holiness. Whether it's being sufficiently preached or promoted in our American congregations is not the issue. God doesn't change His Word. So the Standard never shifts. Particularly when God is getting ready to Move the way He's about to right now.

The key is Positioning and Preparation. Are you "where"God has called you to be? That means geographically, relationally, emotionally, psychologically as well as ministerially. There are some things that God has told us to do and some places He's told us to go, and we have refused to do it. And see, the catch is that because you're still "working in the church" and Praising the Lord, the people on the outside can't tell the difference. But God sees all! He knows you've been disobedient. Which means you're not properly positioned for the Move.

Then you have to be Prepared. When you look at the story of the 10 Bridesmaids (Matthew 25), all 10 of them were in position to greet the Bridegroom. However, the difference was that the five foolish bridesmaids were not prepared. Did you know you can be positioned but not prepared? The five bridesmaids that were not prepared did not take the time to garner the sufficient resources to meet the Bridegroom. As a result, when the Bridegroom came, their lack of preparation was exposed, and in an effort to prepare at the last minute they got out of position and missed their Time of Visitation. Don't wait till it's too late saints. Make the necessary preparations now, so that when The King comes, you'll be Positioned and Prepared.
