We are at a very critical time as it relates to what's happening in the spirit realm. The Father is moving, and His Divine plans are being situated and executed. The complete manifestation may not have transpired yet in the natural, but rest assured, our Heavenly Father is working behind the scenes.
Always remember, He is God.
With that in mind, there are some things He is setting up for His chosen and for His elect. However, it is very, very important, for such a time as this, that we remain faithful and watchful. For if not, we could be in danger of losing our reward.
The God we serve is a God of reward (Hebrews 11). He rewards the faithfulness of His children. According to a prophetic declaration that I received at the beginning of September, the Father is planning an "appointed time" where He is going to reward His children for their faithfulness unto Him during this season. But we must keep in mind, if we're not careful, we could lose our reward.
The Second Epistle of John states, "look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward" (New King James Version). Do you know that you could lose what you've worked so hard to receive in the Lord if you're not careful and watchful? Isn't that terrible? But it's real. And Satan is lurking to rob us of our Inheritance just like he did Adam and countless other saints (John 10). Therefore, we must remain vigilante, that we not Lose what God has prepared and ordained for us.
The key to maintaining and receiving the blessing and the reward that the Father has prepared for us is to diligently examine the patterns of our faith. Believe it or not, nobody just "falls" from grace or falls into sin arbitrarily. It may look like that on the surface, even when we read the Bible, but that's not how it works. When you read or hear of people "falling" as it relates to the Divine will of God being executed in their life, there was a "pattern of faith" that sponsored their downfall or delinquency. It didn't "just happen,"there were patterns that they had established in their lives that facilitated and precipitated the disobedience that was ultimately manifested. This is where we have to be careful.
What patterns are you establishing in your walk of faith with the Lord that are either sponsoring your ability to "pass the test" or sponsoring your disobedience and failing in sin? David didn't just sleep with Bathsheba, a pattern had been established. Peter didn't just deny Jesus, a pattern had been established. Judas didn't just betray Christ, a pattern had been established. The development and nurturing of these patterns, particularly if they go unnoticed and ignored, can be what makes you lose your reward.
But it works both ways. Abraham didn't just decide to slaughter his son Isaac as a sacrifice, in obedience to the word of the Lord, a pattern had been established. Joseph didn't just not sleep with Potiphar's wife, a pattern had been established. Jesus didn't just resist Satanic temptation in the wilderness, a pattern had been established.
Saints, let's be faithful and prayerful, for such a time as this, to allow the Holy Spirit to expose and reveal what patterns of faith are being established in our walk with Christ, that we will not lose our reward.
