The Ministry of Marriage

One of the areas that Satan has attacked within our society and within the church is the institution of the family. The Enemy has vehemently assaulted the family with the intent of destroying the basic social unit that God has ordained. One of the ways that the Devil is doing this is through the erosion of the institution of marriage. 

The statistics have been relatively consistent for years that 50% to 60% of all marriages in the United States end in divorce. This is not the will of God. 

Marriage is more than just two people of the "opposite sex" saying "I do" because they supposedly love each other. Marriage is a ministry from God. It is a holy and sacred union ordained by God. And unfortunately, there aren't enough people, including Christians, that understand that you don't get married to be happy, you get married to glorify God. We need to restore the ministry of marriage.
