Postitioned for Promotion

Most people get excited about the prospect of promotion. Whether it's on their job or in another area of endeavor or achievement, people like to feel that their efforts are being duly rewarded. 

When it comes to the economy of the Kingdom of God, we want to understand that the God we serve is a God of promotion. However, in order to receive the promotion of the Kindgom, you have to be properly positioned. 

When Jesus received His promotion as the Anointed Son of God, His first responsiblity was to be tested in the wilderness by Satan (Luke 4). Many Christians are going through the "trial of faith" (James 1). In many instances it may feel like God has abandoned you, that He has even let you down. But be not discouraged, nor dismayed, the Father is taking you through simply to position you for promotion.
