Fight the Good Fight

One of the most precious commodities that Christian believers have is their faith. The Bible states very clearly in the11th chapter of Hebrews that without faith it is impossible to please God. Therefore, it's significant to recognize that our faith is something that we have to fight for.

Too many Christians have a "laid-back" approach to their relationship with God. A kind of "go-with-the-flow" mentality. However, if you are going to receive and achieve all that God has ordained for you, you're going to have to fight for it. You're going to have to learn how to "pray without ceasing" (I Thessalonians 5:17). You're going to have to learn how to fast. You're going have to learn how to "deny yourself and carry your cross" (Matthew 16:24).

These are fundamental disciplines that are required if you are going to Fight the Good Fight of Faith (I Timothy 6:12).
